From an after-schooler...

Just wanted to send you a note to tell how much we love your spelling program! My son is 11 and he just finished 5th grade. Going into 5th grade he was at a 3rd grade spelling level. At the end of 5th grade we had him tested again. We completed levels 1 through 5 this year. Now, because of All About Spelling, he is on a 6th grade spelling level!!! Awesome! Thanks to your program, we can brag about his measurable improvement. I recommend it to everyone I can. Thank you!!!!

I have my Master's in elementary education and taught first grade for 13 years before becoming a homeschooling mom to my 4 children. OH HOW I WISH I HAD All About Spelling as a teacher!!!! This program is SO comprehensive! It builds upon itself, makes sense and is delivered in "small chunks" with a review at the beginning of EVERY lesson and several ways to practice and check for understanding prior to moving on. I LOVE THIS PROGRAM!!

I just wanted to say thank you! I have been using AAS with my profoundly dyslexic 11 year old son since August. We are still on Level 1 but his confidence is soaring, as his spelling ability and reading. I am going to use the program with my two older high school students as a remedial program, and will use it with my kindergartener, too!

I get groans on Saturdays when my daughter asks if we’re doing spelling and I tell her no ... it’s the weekend. NO FAIR she says.

So thanks again. I’m so glad I listened to my instincts and ordered your level 1. You are my third and last spelling program. We’re not leaving until she’s finished all the levels...which at this rate could be in a year! :)

All About Spelling has helped my daughter immensely. She was not able to spell before we found it. My favorite part is that every time she makes an error I can tell her why. She understands what is wrong and knows how to fix it thus greatly reducing frustration not only for her but for me as well. THANK YOU so much for writing All About Spelling!

I am a retired teacher and instructional coach. My youngest son is dyslexic, and he has struggled his whole life with reading and spelling. In two weeks we will finish Level 6 of All About Spelling. If you could only see where he started and where he is now. I look back at the dictation we were doing seven months ago and the dictation he is able to do now, and I am just amazed.

AAS has been our saving grace. We are almost finished with level 1 and oh how much progress we’ve made! So very thankful. Our daughter loves it. Spelling and reading have improved dramatically :)! Her confidence has grown and even writing her own sentences has improved! So very thankful!

I am so pleased with AAS! My son has been diagnosed with high functioning Autism. He was having great difficulty with school and at the end of 2nd grade was reading/writing at a K-1st grade level. After alot of research my husband and I decided to homeschool our son and agreed to try AAS. We are about to complete Level 1 in just over a month and we couldn’t be happier!

Because of the hands-on nature of All About Spelling, Nicholas is thoroughly enjoying it. He actually says, "Oh, good," when I say it’s time for a spelling lesson. He’s told me more than once, as we stand at the magnetic dry erase board where we do the lessons, "I like when we do this." I’ve seen his spelling, and most importantly his understanding of spelling concepts, improve since we started this program.

My 4th grade son is half way through level 1. Before we started school this year, he spelled ’ran’ r-a-e-n and had a hard time hearing the sounds in words. After just 3 weeks of AAS, he hasn’t had to repeat a single lesson and is writing the dictation perfectly.

Whenever I tell him it’s spelling time, he yells ’whoo hoo!!’ I can’t believe it. He is sounding words out now on other assignments as well and doing it correctly. Love your program!

I don’t normally leave reviews for products. But AAS has taken my spelling challenged son and has helped him become an excellent speller in less than two levels. He can sound words out and spell them correctly. Something he was not able to do before. Public school taught him sight words, he has no idea how to sound them out. Thanks to AAS he knows his phonics!! I will be using it all the through.Thank you AAS for helping my boy!
